'Seating Machines' is a set of tests regarding seating objects. The project was born as the designer attempted to figure out the morphologic borders of what we call a seating object. What would be the minimum structure of a functioning chair? In terms of a line in space, do we still read this object as a chair or a stool? The structures are made from different types of iron and Corten steel, with some parts requiring a soft material, others more stiff for better springiness, and so on.
