Guests were greeted by an arched version of Marjan Van Aubel’s Current Window, a futuristic take on traditional stained glass windows.
While still in 'working prototype' mode, it managed to propel us into the future showing us how windows will one day power our homes using only abundantly available solar power.
Lionel Jadot’s imposing console may have contrasted in style, with its roughly-cut slab of reclaimed wood and thin copper legs, but the philosophy of "sustainable design with style" was the over-arching theme in the space.
More importantly, the narrow white-washed space achieved its objective: Guests felt welcomed and curiosity was peaked.
